Kelly & Jones 200 Excelsior 1.25" High Pressure Brass Valve, Circa 1894. Condition is "Acceptable". I found this valve about 40 years ago on Red Fish Island which is located off Kemah, Texas in Galveston Bay. The shifting tides uncovered the remains of a boat of about 40 feet. The valve was attached to what was left of the bottom. I was able to dislodge it, and it has been in my shop ever since. Some online literature says it is/was for high pressure (200/300 psi superheated steam) and it was extensively used for steam plants and the US Navy. Maybe it was re-purposed on a fishing boat as there are no such things around Kemah? Obviously it is sold "as is" with no warranty, but I think a collector would be okay with this. It will be shipped USPS Priority Mail at the buyer's expense.
